Level 4 ACES Enrollee, Deborah Rosenthal, has been a Conservation Specialist for multiple counties in New York since her 2007 transfer from the SEE Program in New Jersey.  Given Ms. Rosenthal’s background, she was a natural choice for the position.

 

Ms. Rosenthal has dedicated her career to preserving the environment. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. After obtaining her degree, Ms. Rosenthal has worked with several organizations reducing their waste and has championed, developed and implemented Pollution Prevention Plans.

 

In her position as a Conservation Specialist, Ms. Rosenthal is assisting with the implementation of several Farm Bill Programs including Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) and Wetland Reserve Program (WRP).  She works to analyze resource concerns and develop alternatives in planning conservation measures with landowners.

 

Prior to working on the ACES Program, Ms. Rosenthal spent 5 years participating on the SEE Program in Edison, New Jersey. As an outreach specialist Ms. Rosenthal developed and delivered Pesticide Community Outreach Programs in New Jersey.
