Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree in Human Resources/Human Capital Management OR Minimum of 8 year(s) of experience in Human Resources Previously completed training in Human Resources

  • Experience required with MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, Fax, Copying Machine, Multiple Phone Lines, Scanner

Duties:

Assist with a broad range of human resources and projects. Assists with the execution of core operational human resources and processes and programs to ensure the delivery of timely, relevant, and efficient human resources and operations for OCSPP/OPMO. Assists with a wide range of special projects and analyses for the human resources and programs.

  • Assist with analyzing, evaluating and studies - on a quantitative or qualitative basis- a variety of, including the effectiveness of plans, functions, operations, and data for Human Resources. 25%
  • Assist with researching, preparing summaries, reports and makes recommendations to OPMO's management and staff regarding strategies, plans, and guidance for HR program implementation. 25%
  • Help to prepare spreadsheets, reports, presentations, memoranda, summaries, talking points, and other written materials as requested by management. Compiles, develops and analyzes, HR reports relating to personnel activities (e.g staffing, recruitment, training, onboarding) 25%
  • Assists OPMO management and staff with record management, research, which may include providing timely reminders to those responsible for input on time sensitive matters or assisting with special projects initiated by OPMO (e.g. data calls, mandatory training, onboarding/offboarding, survey) 10%
  • Supports OPMO management and staff with data entry, copying filing, briefing package or report preparation, electronic records keeping, etc. Conference room scheduling, preparation or setup for meetings and OPMO sponsored events. 10%
  • Assist with maintaining and updating databases/SharePoint with HR activities including, staffing, recruitment, and onboarding and plans, organizes, implements and follows up on trainings, awards ceremonies, meetings, and other major OPMO events. 5%
