Management Analyst - Training Requirements & Equipment Replacement

This position is eligible for telework both during COVID-19 and after.

Duties:

The enrollee will provide support to the US Park Police in researching, planning and documenting the budget for training and equipment.

  • The enrollee will provide assistance in developing a comprehensive document of required and optional United States Park Police training requirements, the cost of the training (including travel) and developing a mechanism to track execution through the current and future years. 50%
  • The enrollee will provide assistance in developing a comprehensive document of required and optional United States Park Police equipment and the cost of the equipment for budget projections. 50%

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in Business Administration, budget and/or accounting related areas and/or Program Management or Cost Estimating. OR AA/HS Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related fields

  • Ability to collect, consolidate and analyze multiple data streams to support making recommendations.
  • Ability to calculate travel costs using approved Government Travel Regulations (e.g. transportation, Per Diem, Rental Car, Lodging, etc.)
  • Ability to challenge requirements and justify their existence
  • Experience with Department of the Interior, National Park Service or Department of Defense requirements definition is preferred
  • Experience with SAP applications is desired but not required
  • Experience with the National Park Service, Project Management Information System (PMIS) and AFS are desired.
  • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Power Point
  • Adobe Acrobat
