HS/GED Degree OR Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience in administrative services, office work, or secretarial

  • Experience required with MS Word, WordPerfect, Excel, Fax, Copying Machine, Multiple Phone Lines
  • Access, PowerPoint, Scanner


Provide Administrative support and assistance e to the Office Director, Deputy Office Director and Division Directors in the Immediate office of the Office of Underground Storage Tanks (OUST). Assist office staff with administrative duties and generally facilitates the work of the office. The work involves computer-related systems, such as calendars and travel.

  • Maintain records management database system and filing system 30%
  • Prepare travel authorizations and vouchers in automated system 20%
  • Types a variety of materials from rough drafts, clean copies, reports directives or technical correspondence 20%
  • General office duties (photocopying, scanning, faxing and mailing) 5%
  • Answer telephones and transfer calls 5%
  • Open sort, distribute and track incoming correspondence and outgoing correspondence 5%
  • Maintain caldendars, schedule meetings, attend meeting and take notes 5%
  • Maintain conference room schedule and assist staff in reserving rooms via email 5%
  • Write and responds to email messages 5%
